(OptiFine can be installed by itself, independent of Forge, but to make it compatible with Forge, you must first install Forge and put the OptiFine file directly into the Mods folder without installing OptiFine) Put both MiniaTuria 1.12.2 and OptiFine into your Forge installed minecraft mods folder.
